A deep clean is for a house that has got away from you, or one you are about to live in. A crew of two works through every room with a longer checklist than a regular visit, starting high and finishing on the floors so nothing gets knocked back down onto a clean surface.
Most of the time goes on the jobs a weekly clean never has time for: limescale on screens and taps, grease on the hob and splashback, dust along the tops of doors and skirting, the inside of every kitchen cupboard. We take things off shelves, clean underneath and put them back where they were.
What to expect on the day
The crew arrives with everything they need, walks the house with you for five minutes and agrees anything to skip. A two-bed house takes a crew of two about half a day. You do not need to be in, but we do need the water and electricity on.
When a deep clean is not enough
Some things are stained rather than dirty: grout that has been grey for years, a limescale ring etched into old enamel, carpet dye. We will tell you what is stain and what is soil before we start, and we will not charge you to fail at the first kind.
Afterwards
You get a written list of what was done, room by room. Many clients follow a deep clean with a fortnightly regular clean; if you book one within a month, we take £20 off the deep clean.
FAQ
Questions about deep cleaning
Do I need to be in when you clean?
No. Most regular clients give us a key or a lockbox code. Keys are held under a reference number, never with your address on them, and signed in and out.
Do you bring your own products and equipment?
Yes, everything: vacuum, mops, microfibre cloths and our own products. If you would rather we used yours, tell us when you book and we take a few pounds off each visit.
Will I get the same cleaner each time?
Yes. Regular clients get one named cleaner, plus a cover cleaner who has met you, for holidays and sick days.
Before
After “The shower screen had a year of limescale on it. One deep clean, a written list of what they did, and a tip for keeping it that way.”
